On February 14, 2019, OpenAI released a revolutionary sample of machine-generated text. The sample describes a research team's discovery of a herd of unicorns living in the Andes Mountains that can speak English. Five years later, the world is fundamentally altered by the introduction of language models more capable than GPT-2. However, we still lack the knowledge of the parameters that resulted Ovid's Unicorn, which remains an important cultural artifact. Seed Quest is a crowdsourced effort to find the random seed and model parameters responsible for generating the sample. Please use the form below to submit your guess.
